SLCFUG Thurs; CodeAway Saturday
Just a quick note that, per usual, I’ll be coordinating things at tomorrow’s Salt Lake ColdFusion User Group meeting. From the meeting blurb on the SLCFUG site:
This May the SLCFUG is privaledged to have the expertise of Davis County development to enlighten the group. SLCFUG members Neil Moncur and Jon Saltern will be presenting two great topics: bullet-proof design techniques and creating coldfusion custom tag inheritance. We’ll also be holding the manager election and giving away more great development books, t-shirts, and more.
That’s 6pm Thursday, the 10th.
I’m still looking for a sponsor for tomorrow night’s event to cover the cost of pizza. Sponsors get an opportunity to talk about their product or service at the top of the meeting, inclusion in our email newsletter that goes out to hundreds of Wasatch area developers, and a Ben-Forta-Beardful of Code Karma. More more details on sponsorship send me an email at create[at]voxpopdesign[dot]com.
Secondly, the May CodeAway coworking event will be held this Saturday from 1pm-5pm. In addition to our usual unstructured build time we’ll also be comparing the ins and outs of mobile video. Because its being held at a private residence details are being kept on a need-to-know basis. If you’re in the Salt Lake area and would like to attend, again, send me an email at reate[at]voxpopdesign[dot]com.
