Utah geeks, bloggers, coders and all other technical savvy folks! CodeAway is our once a month event where we bring our laptops, video games and Nintendo DS together to play, work, and share.
Got a coding problem? Ask the group for advice. Got something to brag about? Bring it to show off! Just lonely for intelligent conversation? You might even find that here as well!
There is no charge for attendance. If you would like to eat the most excellent pizza or salads at Rocky Mountain Pizza, then you will have to pay for your own. There is free wi-fi so that we can surf to our hearts’ content.
Hope to see you here!

This month we had the dinner at Paradise Bakery, which worked really well for everyone. If you know of a place like that in West Valley, please tell me so we can have a good even there next month!

We literally took over Neil’s Halibut yesterday at the Utah Geek/Blogger Dinner. We had at least twenty people there and maybe closer to thirty. Here are some photos:

May’s Utah Geek/Blogger Dinner is this Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
We are having it at Neil’s Halibut and Broiler, which is a little more casual than we’re used to (order at the counter and bring it to the table, fill your own drinks). It is, however, excellent food, on the south side of the Salt Lake Valley, so our buddies from Provo can attend as well.
Here’s a link to a review of the restaurant:

Description:
Bloggers, freelancers, web workers, and digital Bedouin - all are welcome to this once-a-month event. Come with your stories, your conversations, and you questions and enjoy some great halibut or burgers!
